Dr. Babb is a South Carolina native who grew up in Bishopville. He attended Wofford College for his undergraduate studies, where he received a Bachelor of Science in Biology with a minor in business. Dr. Babb received his of Doctor of Dental Medicine from the Medical University of South Carolina. Following Dental School, Dr. Babb attended the University of Florida's prestigious Advanced Education in General Dentistry Program. Dr. Babb has also been recognized as an International Congress of Oral Implantology Fellow, a noteable designation for dentists who provide implant procedures with the utmost care, skill and professional judgement. He enjoys the outdoors and is an avid fisherman. He also has a beautiful chocolate Labrador Retriever named Mako.
Dr. Cummings attended the University of Kentucky where he received a BS in Psychology. He graduated from the University of Kentucky Dental School with a degree of D.M.D. and has been practicing dentistry ever since. After serving as a Lieutenant in the U.S. Navy at Parris Island, SC, Dr. Cummings opened his private practice on Lady’s Island. Dr. Cummings has held numerous offices in the dental community including the position of Director of the Parris Island Dental Study Club, and President of both the Lowcountry Dental Study Club and the Beaufort Dental Society.
While a member of the South Carolina film commission, Dr. Cummings designed dental prosthesis for Tom Hanks, Sally Fields and Mykelti T. Williamson in “Forrest Gump” and Tom Berenger for his role as Teddy Roosevelt in “ Rough Riders”. Currently, Dr. Cummings belongs to the Lowcountry Dental Society, the South Carolina Dental Society, the American Dental Society, and the Beaufort Dental Society.
